The Panel Discussion is hosted by Siggy Pritchitt from Bristol Beacon with guest speakers: Laura Lewis-Paul at Saffron Records, Siobhan AKA MARIA at Rising Arts Agency & Jonathan Harper from Paraorchestra exploring the question 'What’s your experience of the Bristol music scene, and what do you think needs to happen to make sure the bad stuff doesn’t happen again and the good stuff keeps happening?' Tom Sastry once co-edited a book of poems about the future which turned into a collection of poems about the apocalypse because no-one could believe he would want to read anything remotely cheerful. In an effort to reinvent himself as a ray of sunshine, he is currently working on a new collection called Life expectancy begins to fall. Like his existing books it will be political, ironic, emotional, morbid and funny in all the wrong places.
