Waving at Watchet

An exhibition funded by the Royal Society of Mathematics. The trade between Watchet and Bristol was once important. Without the strontium from Watchet there would have been no glass industry in Bristol! What else of value in Wachet was moved to Bristol on the tides and why did the trade in goods and holiday-makers need to plan so carefully with the tides in the Bristol Channel.
