Thomas Wright and Carder

Local stalwarts of the Bristol music scene TWC are an acoustic country blues trio comprising of Al Thomas (guitar vocals) Dave Wright (guitar vocals) and Al Carder (harmonica and vocals). Their music is a blend of Ry Cooder style blues playing and modern country( John Hyatt, Lyle Lovett etc). They play a mix of Dave's compositions and some classic covers. Time Out scribed Dave's writing as ' a smart line in simple poignant and affecting melodies'. Over the years they have played at numerous local venues and have performed at the Bristol Community and Glastonbury Festival in the past.
