Samba Band

Drumming by 'Bristol Samba' accompanying the cardboard boat races on the water. Drummers will start on the ship, MV Balmoral and move to Prince Street Bridge for the start of the races.

Loud, dynamic drumming supporting whacky races on the water. First the Primary Schools model race and then teams who have built a cardboard vessel and are attempting to race it. Race commentary and prizes will follow (drumming will subside!). The drummers will then head off towards the Ostrich Pub if you need more. Start at the ship and follow them down the quay while looking into the harbour at the parade of boats.
