MV Balmoral - Open Ship

This historic vessel is open throughout the day for visitors to explore the ship that was nicknamed 'The Peoples Liner'. The deck is also a good viewing platform for events on the water.

MV Balmoral is an inshore passenger with funding from Heritage Lottery to help take passengers to sea again. While moored in Bristol the ship runs workshops and events for schools, community groups and the public. Explore the engine room, wheel house and the lounges and bars. Show your support for this ship which has visited more UK Ports than any other vessel and was once a regular sight for  in the Bristol Channel sailing from Bristol, Weston-s-Mare and Clevedon to Penarth, Watchet, Ilfracombe and the islands in the channel. Exhibitions on Board the ship will include work by schools and Watchet Museum's display called 'Waving at Watchet' that explores fascinating links on the 'liquid tidal highway' between Bristol and Watchet.
