Merchant Navy Association Open Day

On Saturday and Sunday Dock Cottage will be open. Our small Museum will be open and in the afternoon there will be a B.B.Q. Portishead R.N.L.I. Shanty Singers will be singing on Saturday afternoon.

The Merchant Navy Association Bristol Branch is a charity. We are all retired Merchant Seaman with the aim to keep alive the Heritage and sacrifice made to make Bristol the Great Port it became. We love to talk to visitors and share ours stories of life at Sea! Many of us will be there while you have a hotdog by the edge of Brunel’s Lock. Also pop into the Dock Workers Cottage where we have our Museum.  No charge to visit us
