Aviator Brass

Aviator Brass began life as a trio busking at Christmas time in the pubs of Clifton and Hotwells over 15 years ago and has since developed into a full quintet, delivering an eclectic mix of jazz, swing, pop, film favourites and even German oompah at events all round the South West! Alongside weddings, private parties, and pub music nights we have had the pleasure to play at some amazing events, such as the Shaun the Sheep Auction and local fan-favourite band, Stackridge’s, final ever gig, and have played at some great Bristol venues including Bristol Museum, MShed, the Avon Gorge Hotel, the Old Duke Pub and the Fiddlers Club. For the last three years we have been bringing authentic German oompah tunes to the brilliant Oktoberfest celebrations at the Siren’s Calling in Portishead, whilst every year we return to the band’s spiritual home, the Portcullis in Clifton, at Christmas to deliver a yuletide sing-a-long that is an experience not to be missed! As well as our regular paid engagements, we have also raised hundreds of pounds in aid of the Bristol Children’s Hospital and St Mungo’s charities and will continue to support local charities through our festive busking each year. Aviator Brass’ mission is to bring smiles to people’s faces so whether it’s toe-tapping or foot stomping you're after, we’re here to bring the music!
