Where young people discover themselves and enjoy Bristol. Children and teenagers spend 85% of their time out of school and at Young Bristol we believe support is vital during these hours, especially in parts of the city where the needs are greater.
Young Bristol’s clubs and activities help young people develop their character, confidence, skills and ultimately, their employability as they move towards adulthood. Nothing gets past our Young Person’s panel that isn’t fun, stimulating and exactly what young people want!
- 21 youth clubs for 8 to 18 year olds are open 3 nights per week, 48 weeks per year – that is over 10,000 hours of fun!
- National Citizen Service giving 100 young Bristolians opportunities in outdoor pursuits, creative programmes and volunteering every year.
- Specialist activity centres at Pooles Wharf and Kingcott Farm deliver 1,000 activity sessions per year, where high ropes adventure, abseiling, archery, bushcraft, canoeing and kayaking help young people develop self-belief and trust in others while having the time of their life! Also available for corporate team building, private events and parties!
Young Bristol is a charity which relies entirely on grants and donations to fund its work.
