Dance is having a makeover at this year’s Bristol Harbour Festival. Queens Square will offer two full days of opportunities to spice up your salsa, strut your funky stuff, shake your tailfeather and swing out with demonstrations, classes and open sessions where anyone of any age can just jump up and join in.

This year, while Bristol is celebrating its status as a European City of Sport and a Learning City, we want to showcase all of the amazing opportunities that Bristolians have to learn and enjoy dances from all over the world.

From Argentine Tango to Zumba via Ballet, Ballroom, Blues, Balboa, Bebop, Break Dance, Charleston, Disco, English Country Dancing, Foxtrot, Flamenco, Gaudiya Nritya, Greek, Hip Hop, Historical, Irish, International Folk Dance, Jazz, Jive, Kathak, Le Roc, Line Dance, Mambo, Merengue, Morris, Northern Soul, Native American, Popping, Punjabi, Quickstep, Regency, Rumba, Salsa, Samba, Swing, Shag (yes it’s a dance), Street, Tango, Tap, Vintage, Waltz, Western, X-Ray, Yoga and maybe even a chance to revisit your wedding dance…

Bristol Harbour Festival’s dance square will provide the opportunity for you to show off what you can do as well as a chance to learn something new.

We provide the atmosphere, and a dance floor. Fabulous Bristolian teachers are stepping in to provide classes, workshops and demonstrations.

Come and fill the floor.
